About merging PDFs locally
Combining documents is the most common reason people reach for an online PDF tool — and the documents involved are usually contracts, invoices, applications or scans of identity papers. Those are exactly the files worth thinking twice about before handing them to a server you know nothing about.
This tool reads the page objects out of each file and writes them into one new document using pdf-lib, a PDF library written in JavaScript. Page content, fonts and images are copied across unchanged, so quality is identical to the originals and nothing is re-compressed.
Notes
- Bookmarks and form fields are not carried over — page content, size and rotation are.
- Password-protected files cannot be opened; remove the password in your PDF reader first.
- There is no file count or size limit beyond your device's available memory.
